Servogear AS has been awarded a contract to supply two Ecoflow propulsion systems for a new 26-metre Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) currently being built by Diverse Marine Ltd at its shipyard in Cowes, Isle of Wight, UK. The vessel is based on the Chartwell Brevity SL design from Chartwell Marine Ltd and will be equipped with Servogear HD295U gearboxes and 1,225 mm controllable pitch propellers.

The propulsion package has been selected to support efficient and reliable operation in the demanding conditions of offshore wind farm service. The vessel is scheduled for delivery by Diverse Marine in 2027.

Servogear scope of supply includes:

    • Two Servogear Ecoflow propulsion systems
    • HD295U gearboxes
    • 1,225 mm controllable pitch propellers

"We appreciate the opportunity to be part of this project. The Chartwell Brevity is a proven design, and we believe our propulsion solution is a good match for the vessel's operational requirements. We look forward to working with Diverse Marine on the delivery."
